To experience epic animal adventures, there's no need to travel the globe. Some of the greatest natural dramas are happening much closer to home.

Britain's 30 million gardens have a combined area greater than all of our national nature reserves combined. And it turns out that our flowerbeds, vegetable patches, lawns and ponds are home to thousands of animal and plant species - many rarely seen, most barely understood.

Secret Garden tells the surprising stories of the wild characters that live right on our doorsteps, revealing what they get up to when our backs are turned.
